Medicare supplement plans are designed to cover what isn't covered between Medicare Part A and Medicare Part B. Some plans have additional benefits beyond Original Medicare but that varies by your carrier. The most popular plans are Plans A,B,C, and F. Plan A covers copays between days 61-150, gives you hospital coverage for an additional 365 days, Part B Medical Coinsurance, and Parts A and B blood deductible. Part F, the most covered plan, includes all these benefits with additional benefits such as Part A Hospital Stay Deductible, Part B Medical Deductible, Part B Excess Charges, Skilled Nursing Facility Coinsurance, and Foreign Travel.
