HealthSpring is a managed care organization whose focus is on providing affordable healthcare coverage to people on Medicare. They also offer special needs plans with their TotalCare and OptimaCare HMO plans. Special needs plans are designed for specific groups of people who require more, like those who live in nursing homes or have chronic medical conditions.
