Continental Life Insurance provides a range of Medicare Supplemental insurance products with broad coverage at competitive prices. The original Medicare program does not cover all of your health needs, focusing mainly on the essentials, so some people choose to broaden their coverage by adding Medicare Supplemental Insurance plans, also commonly known as Medigap plans. Medicare supplements fill in the gaps left behind by Medicare Part A and Part B. There are 12 different standards of supplemental insurance plans with varying supplemental coverage, filling in gaps that you need the most.
Continental Life Insurance has been authorized by Medicare to sell 8 Medicare supplement policies. Continental Life Insurance sells plans A, B, C, D, E, F, and G, as well as Plan F with a high deductible. Plan A offers the most basic additional coverage. Every Continental Life Insurance plan provides coverage for blood services, hospital coinsurance, and doctor coinsurance. Continental Life Plans B, C, D, E, F, and G take care of the Part A deductible. Foreign travel coverage and skilled nursing coinsurance are provided by Plans C, D, E, F, and G. Every plan but Plan A covers the $1024 Medicare Part A deductible for inpatient hospital visits. Continental Life Insurance Company also offers Plan F with a high deductible. High deductible Plan F covers all of the same benefits as regular Plan F, but only starts paying for services after you reach the $2,000 deductible.
Unfortunately, due to the current Medicare modernization initiatives, Plan E will no longer be available to new buyers as of June 1 2010. Continental Life Insurance will not drop coverage for people who are already enrolled in Plan E policies.
While Continental Life may not sell the most inexpensive plan in your area, keep in mind that Continental Life Insurance offers excellent customer service in addition to plans with competitive, valuable prices.
