Oxford Health Plans is dedicated to providing quality health coverage to its primary service areas including New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. They offer Medicare Advantage plans to administer health plans to people who qualify for Original Medicare Parts A and Medicare Part B. Oxford Medicare Advantage health plans offer all benefits that you are entitled to under Medicare Part A and Medicare Part B and more. MedicareDirect Plans are offered under the federal Medicare Advantage program. While the benefits vary depending on your specific plan, Oxford's MedicareDirect Plan offers freedom to seek care from any Medicare eligible provider without a referral, as long as the provider agrees to accept the plan's terms, conditions, and payment rates. The plan also offers no or low monthly premiums, multiple plans with predictable copayments for doctor visits and hospital care. You also get limits on annual out-of-pocket expenses and Medicare Part D prescription drug coverage.

 

You are eligible to enroll in an Oxford Medicare Advantage plan if you are eligible for Medicare Part A and continue to pay your Medicare Part B premium each month. You must also reside in one of the service areas listed above and must not have End Stage Renal Disease.

 

UnitedHealthcare has merged its Medicare Advantage plans, including Oxford Medicare Advantage, to create the new SecureHorizons by UnitedHealthcare. Their focus will be exclusively on the health and well-being of individuals enrolled in Medicare.
