2. Anthem has four Medicare Supplement Plans that it offers to customers. These include Medicare Supplement Plans A, F, G, and N. Medicare Supplement Plan F offered in your area by Anthem has a monthly premium of $164. This, too, has a $0 Co-pay for office visits, hospital inpatients, and hospital outpatients. Pharmacy is not covered with this Plan.

 

3. Blue Shield of California offers the Medicare Plan HMO Blue Shield 65 Plus. This Plan can be added to your Medicare Advantage Plan. An HMO Plan is a Health Maintenance Organization. This Medicare Plan has $0 monthly premium. There is a $0 co-pay for primary care visits, but a $10 co-pay for specialty office visits. Hospital inpatients will have a $50 co-pay per day for the first 10 days of their hospital stay. Hospital outpatients will have a $0 co-pay. And, yes, Pharmacy is covered with this Plan.

 

You may notice that the different Medicare carriers offer a similar Medicare Supplement Plan, but for a different monthly premium. The monthly premiums vary because each Medicare Plan and carrier offer different ranges of coverage as well as different benefits.
