There are many Medicare Plans available in your area.  Many people choose to add a Medicare plan to their current plan to cover excess fees associated with their healthcare.  Since each person has their specific healthcare needs, the wide variety of Medicare Plans allow you to chose a plan that works best for you.  

 

2 Medicare Carriers and 9 Medicare Plans in your area

It is important that you choose a Medicare Plan offered in your area.  Many of the Medicare Carriers are members of a network of doctors and hospitals in your area.  These doctors and hospitals will accept the Medicare plans offered by the Medicare carriers within the network.  If you choose to use doctors or hospitals outside of the network, your plan may not be applicable.  In the case of an emergency, you may receive extended coverage of your Medicare Plan. 

 

There are two Medicare carriers offering a total of nine Medicare Supplement Plans to Provo, UT.  Each of the Medicare carriers and Medicare plans offer different benefits and coverage.  Below you can see a brief summary of the coverage, benefits, and fees associated with the Medicare Plan you choose.

 

1. Gerber Life Insurance Company

Gerber Life Insurance offers three Medicare Supplement Plans to your area.  These are Medicare Supplement Plan A, F, and G.  Medicare Supplement Plan F offers coverage on excess fees of your Medicare Plan. This includes fees you may encounter at doctors visits, such as “out-of-pocket” fees.  It also offers coverage for your Part B deductible.  Foreign travel emergency insurance is on of the many benefits of this plan.  Medicare Supplement Plan F is one of the most popular Medicare Plan.

Medicare Supplement Plan F has a monthly premium of $101.98.  There is $0 co-pay for office visits (both primary care and specialty), hospital inpatients, and hospital outpatients.   Pharmacy, such as prescription drug coverage, is not included with this Plan. 

 

2. Mutual of Omaha Medicare

This Medicare Carrier offers six Medicare Supplement Plans: Plan A, B, F, G, M, and N.  Medicare Supplement Plan G offers extended coverage on excess charges of your Medicare Plan.  Plan G covers Medicare Part A and Part B co-payments and co-insurance.  However, one must not that Part B deductible is not covered with this Plan.  A skilled nursing facility is one of the many benefits of selecting this Plan.

 

Medicare Supplement Plan G has a monthly premium of $94.61.  There is a $0 co-pay for office visits, hospital inpatients, and hospital outpatients.  Pharmacy is not covered with this Plan. 

 

Medicare Supplement Plan N has a low monthly premium of $76.58.  There is a $20 co-pay for both primary care and specialty office visits.  Hospital inpatients and hospital outpatients have $0 co-pay.  Pharmacy is not covered with this Plan. Medicare Supplement Plan N is one of the newest Plans offered to Medicare customers.  It was designed to offer coverage on your Medicare fees, while keeping the cost of its premium low.  This Plan offers complete coverage of your Medicare Part A deductible.
