What Medicare Plans are available in my area?

The Medicare carriers Humana Health Insurance, Gerber Life Insurance Company, and Mutual of Omaha Medicare offer Medicare Plans in Mesquite, TX.  These three carriers offer a total of thirteen different Medicare plans to your area.

 

1. Humana Health Insurance offers five of the Medicare Plans in Mesquite, TX.  These are PPO HumanaChoice R5826-026, PPO HumanaChoice H4520-006, PPO HumanaChoice R5826-075, PPO HumanaChoice R5826-012, and HMO Humana Gold Plus H4510-018.  These Plans can be added to your Medicare Advantage Plan (Medicare Part C).  A PPO is a Preferred Provider Organization.

 

HumanaChoice H4520-006 has a monthly premium of $56.  You will have a $15 co-pay for primary care office visits and $40 co-pay for specialty visits.  Hospital Inpatients (those who require over-night stay at the hospital) will have a $225 co-pay per day for the first 15 days of your visit.  Hospital outpatients (those who require medical services, but not an over-night stay at the hospital) will have $100-$150 co-pay per visit, depending on the cost of the visit.  Pharmacy, such as Prescription Drug Coverage, is covered with this plan.

 

2. Gerber Life Insurance offers three Medicare Supplement Plans to your area: Medicare Supplement Plan A, F, and G.  Medicare Supplement Plan G has $108.51 monthly premium.  There is a $0 co-pay for office visits, hospital outpatients, and hospital outpatients.  Pharmacy is not covered with this Plan.

 

3.  Mutual of Omaha Medicare offers five Medicare Supplement Plans: Plans A, F, G, M, and N.  Medicare Supplement Plan F has a monthly premium of $112. 43.  There is a $0 co-pay for office visits, hospital outpatients, and hospital inpatients.  Pharmacy is not covered with this Plan.

 

Benefits of your Medicare Plan:

Medicare Supplement Plan F:  This Medicare Plan offers coverage on excess fees of your Medicare Plan. This includes fees you may encounter at doctors visits, such as “out-of-pocket” fees.  It also offers coverage for your Part B deductible.  Foreign travel emergency insurance is on of the many benefits of this plan. 

 

Medicare Supplement Plan F is one of the most popular Medicare Plan. Medicare Supplement Plan G: offers extended coverage on excess charges of your Medicare Plan.  Plan G covers Medicare Part A and Part B co-payments and co-insurance.  However, one must not that Part B deductible is not covered with this Plan.  A skilled nursing facility is one of the many benefits of selecting this Plan.
