There are a variety of Medicare Plans available for you.

These Medicare Plans are provided by the Medicare carriers Humana Life Insurance and Mutual of Omaha Medicare. You can add Medicare Plans to your current Medicare Plan to give yourself additional coverage on costs associated with your healthcare. Since everyone has their specific healthcare needs, there are a variety of Plans for you to choose from. You may choose the Medicare Plan that best fits your medical and financial needs. 

 

Humana Health Insurance gives you the choice of six different Medicare Plans available in Hollywood, FL. These are HMO Humana Gold Plus H1036-011A, HMO Humana Gold Plus H1036-053A, PPO HumanaChoice R5826-074, PPO HumanaChoice R5826-018, PPO HumanChoiceR5826-005, and HMO Humana Gold Plus H1036-065C. HMO is a Health Maintenance Organization and a PPO is a Preferred Provider Organization.

 

HMO HumanaChoice R5826-074 is offered to customers for a monthly premium of $84. This Plan has a $15 co-pay for primary care office visits. There is a $35 co-pay for specialty office visits. Hospital inpatients (those who require an over-night stay in the hospital) have a $225 co-pay per day for the first 7 days of their visit. Hospital Outpatients (those who require medical service or equipment or those who require a hospital visit that is not over-night) will have a $0-$150 co-pay per visit, depending on the cost of each visit. Pharmacy costs, such as Prescription Drug Coverage, are included with this Plan.

 

Medicare Supplement Plan F has a monthly premium of $280.85. There is $0 co-pay for office visits, hospital inpatients, and hospital outpatients. Pharmacy is not covered with this Plan.

 

It is important for you to choose a Medicare Plan that is offered in your area. Many of the Medicare carriers are members of a network of doctors and hospitals in your area. You must use the doctors and hospitals provided by these carriers in your area for your Medicare Plan to be available. If you choose to use a doctor or hospital outside of the network, then your Medicare Plan coverage may not be applicable. In the case of an emergency, you may be eligible for extended coverage.
