There is a $0 co-pay for both primary care and specialty office visits. Hospital Inpatients (those who require an over-night stay in the hospital) will have a $0 co-pay. Hospital outpatients (those who require medical service that does not involve an over-night hospital stay) will also have a $0 co-pay. Pharmacy, such as Prescription Drug coverage, is not included with this Plan.
Anthem offers four Medicare Supplement Plans to your area. These are Medicare Supplement Plans A, F, G, and N. Medicare Supplement Plan N has a monthly premium of $85.83. There is a $20 co-pay for both primary care and specialty office visits. Hospital inpatients and hospital outpatients have a $0 co-pay. Pharmacy is not covered with this Plan.
Benefits and Coverage of the Medicare Supplement Plans:Medicare Supplement Plan F offers coverage on excess fees from your Medicare Plan. This includes such fees as out-of-pocket costs. There are several benefits you will experience with your Medicare Supplement Plan F. For example, foreign travel emergency insurance is a benefit of this Plan.
Medicare Supplement Plan G also offers coverage for excess costs of your Medicare Plan. It offers coverage for your co-payments and co-insurance of Medicare Part A and B. This Supplement Plan offers the benefit of a skilled nursing facility care (such as a nursing home).
Medicare Supplement Plan N is newly available as of June 1, 2010. This plan was designed to lower the monthly premium, while still giving you similar coverage as the Plans listed above. It covers all of the Medicare Part A deductible.
