Medicare Plans in Elgin, IL

Three Medicare carriers provide a total of thirteen Medicare plans to your area.  Each of the Medicare carriers and Medicare plans offer different coverage and benefits with the Plan you choose.  Below you can find some of the coverage, benefits, and fees associated with each of the Medicare Plans and Carriers.

 

1.  Humana Health Insurance:  This Medicare carrier offers two Medicare PPO Plans.  These are HumanaChoice H5826-023 and HumanaChoice H5826-009.  A PPO Plan is a Preferred Provider Organization, which allows you to choose your primary care physician.  These Plans can be added to your Medicare Advantage Plan.

 

HumanaChoice H5826-023 has a monthly premium of $0.  There is a $10 co-pay for primary care office visits and a $30 co-pay for specialty office visits.  Hospital Inpatients have $550 co-pay per stay.  Hospital Outpatients have $50-$95 co-pay per visit, depending on the cost of the visit.  Pharmacy, such as Prescription Drug Coverage, is not included with this Plan.

 

2. Gerber Life Insurance Company:  This Medicare carrier offers three Medicare Supplement Plans.  These are Medicare Supplement Plans A, F, and G.  Medicare Supplement Plan F offers coverage on excess fees of your Medicare Plan. This includes fees you may encounter at doctors visits, such as “out-of-pocket” fees.  It also offers coverage for your Part B deductible.  Foreign travel emergency insurance is on of the many benefits of this plan.  Medicare Supplement Plan F is one of the most popular Medicare Plan.

 

Medicare Supplement Plan F has a monthly premium of $143.32.  There is a $0 co-pay for office visits, hospital inpatients, and hospital outpatients.  Pharmacy is not included with this Plan. 

 

3.  Mutual of Omaha Medicare:  Mutual of Omaha offers five Medicare Supplement Plans.  These are Plans A, F, G, M, and N.  Medicare Supplement Plan G offers extended coverage on excess charges of your Medicare Plan.  Plan G covers Medicare Part A and Part B co-payments and co-insurance.  However, one must not that Part B deductible is not covered with this Plan.  A skilled nursing facility is one of the many benefits of selecting this Plan.

 

Medicare Supplement Plan G has a monthly premium of $92.70.  There is a $0 co-pay for office visits, hospital inpatients, and hospital outpatients.  Pharmacy is not included with this Plan.

 

4. Aetna

This Medicare Carrier offers three Medicare Supplement Plans: Plans A, B, and F.  Medicare Supplement Plan F has a monthly premium of $184.99.  There is $0 co-pay for office visits, hospital inpatients, and hospital outpatients.  Pharmacy is not included with this Plan.
