Medicare Plans in you area:
There are three Medicare Carriers in your area. These are Humana Health Insurance, Gerber Life Insurance Company, and Mutual of Omaha Medicare. These three carriers offer a total of thirteen Medicare Plans to your area.
1. Humana Health Insurance offers five Medicare Plans. They are either a HMO or a PPO Plan. A HMO is a Health Maintenance Organization and a PPO is a Preferred Provider Organizations. These Medicare Plans can be added to your Medicare Advantage Plan (Medicare Part C).
PPO HumanaChoice R5826-026 has a monthly premium of $0. There is a $10 co-pay for primary care office visits and a $30 co-pay for specialty office visits. Hospital inpatients have $200 co-pay per day for the first five days of their visit. Hospital outpatients have a $50-$95 co-pay per visit. Pharmacy, such as prescription drug coverage is not included with this plan.
2. Gerber Life Insurance Company:
Gerber Life Insurance offers four Medicare Supplement Plans: Medicare Supplement Plan A, F, and G. Medicare Supplement Plan F has a monthly Premium of $128.19. There is $0 co-pay for office visits, hospital inpatients, and hospital outpatients. Pharmacy is not covered with this Plan.
3. Mutual of Omaha Medicare:
Omaha Medicare offers five Medicare Supplement Plans: Plan A, F, G, M, and N. Medicare Supplement Plan G has a monthly premium of $95.56 with $0 co-pay for office visits, hospital inpatients, and hospital outpatients. Pharmacy is not covered with this Plan.
Medicare Supplement Plan N is offered to Carrollton, Texas for a monthly premium of $83.76. There is a $20 co-pay for both primary and specialty office visits. Hospital inpatients and hospital outpatients have $0 co-pay. Pharmacy is not included with this Plan.
Medicare Plans coverage and benefits:
Medicare Supplement Plan F: Medicare Supplement Plan F offers coverage on excess fees associated with your Medicare Plan. This includes fees you may encounter at doctors visits, such as “out-of-pocket” fees. It also offers coverage for your Part B deductible. Foreign travel emergency insurance is on of the many benefits of this plan. Medicare Supplement Plan F is one of the most popular Medicare Plan.
Medicare Supplement Plan G: Supplement Plan G offers extended coverage on excess charges of your Medicare Plan. Plan G covers Medicare Part A and Part B co-payments and co-insurance. However, one must not that Part B deductible is not covered with this Plan. A skilled nursing facility is one of the many benefits of selecting this Plan.
Medicare Supplement Plan N: Supplement Plan N is one of the newest Plans offered to Medicare customers. It was designed to offer coverage on your Medicare fees, while keeping the cost of its premium low. This Plan offers complete coverage of your Medicare Part A deductible.
